The Archetype of Water: Unleashing Creative Flow

Where you feel

a power that is not you but flows

into you like a river.

––Mary Oliver, from Buck Moon

Across cultures, water is seen as a driving element in creativity, desire, and renewal. The archetype of water explored metaphorically helps us see the areas in which we have dam/ned our flow or become stagnant. In this workshop, participants will experience the vitality and aliveness of oceans, rivers, lakes and waterfalls through image, poetry, and expressive writing. As we awaken to the powerful element of water, our authentic creativity naturally springs forth.

  • Map your own River of Creativity

  • Discover what dams and frees your flow

  • Learn how the archetype of water reflects and inspires self-expression*

  • Surrender to a deeper and purer source of creativity

The session is highly interactive and offers take-away tools and resources for client work.

What to bring to the session: A journal and pen. Sheets of plain paper and colored pens, pencils or paints.
