Welcome to The Wild Soul Woman Book Circle & Sisterhood
Are you ready to join a community of earth-conscious, creative women rewilding Self and planet?
Welcome Sisters
Welcome Sisters
Within you reside the wisdom of 5 Earth archetypes that have power to unleash your natural brilliance. And yet, everything in our culture is designed to keep you from the luminous, creative joy of uniting with your true nature, as part of Nature.
We are drawn to the Wild Soul Sisterhood because we want to break free of what holds us back from living and giving fully
We women are crying out for a different way of living. One that honors the Earth and all beings—feathered, furred, leafed, petaled, and scaled. We are crying out for poetry, for passion, for pleasure. On a full moon night when our blood stirs, we sense in the depths of our souls that the culture as it stands is too small and tame to contain our deepest creativity and fulfillment. Our brilliance, our beauty, our wild feminine knowing is calling to us to release the power and awareness we need to re-wild our lives and our world.
This call is the deepest kind of invitation to step off the well-worn path and enter uncharted terrain.
In responding to this invitation, you have already shown your courage and your curiosity to know your own wild depths. Perhaps you sense your own desire to break free of the barriers that hold you back. Or to rise like a wildflower through the cement of eons of civilization that have worked to keep women in their place. This is longing born out of the very belly of the Earth.
For only when women rewild their souls, will we truly begin the work of rewilding our planet.
In joining this book circle and sisterhood you will be initiated into the vast and wild landscapes of Desert Woman, Forest Woman, Ocean and River Woman, Mountain Woman, and Grassland Woman as part of your own psyche and soul.
The journey begins with a book circle co-hosted by Mary Reynolds Thompson, the author of The Way of the Wild Soul Woman and Kathleen Brigidina, who did the illustrations for the book. We'll meet each week, over seven months, starting Wednesday, January 15, 2025, 10 am Pacific Time (all sessions are recorded). But it doesn't end there.
Real transformation happens in community, and so your membership will include a full year's access to the sisterhood. After we have explored some of the key insights and teaching from each archetype in the book circle we will continue to engage with and embody their wisdom collectively, through writing sessions, group rituals, and deep and sacred conversation. We'll support each other in an ongoing rewilding process.
Archetypal psychologist Jean Shinoda Bolen writes:
“When a woman senses that there is a mythic dimension to something she is undertaking, that knowledge touches and inspires the deep creative center in her.”
So come and be inspired. Join with the other courageous women who are reaching for a more alive, creative, and authentic ways of living. Feel the energy that comes when wild women from across the world gather in one sacred space.
And know this: Your presence in this community matters. Your willingness to step off the well-worn path, matters. The world needs your wildness.
Mary’s story
Looking back, I can see how even in my darkest times, the Wild Soul Woman Archetypes were acting on me. How they have always helped me find my way back to myself. As they are waiting to help you find your way back, too.
Whatever brings you to this circle, the desire to break free of a toxic relationship or unhealthy dependency; the realization that your life is passing you by and you want more, and to be more; your fear and grief at what it happening to the Earth; or a longing to feel a greater sense of aliveness, connection, and creativity––this community will carry you home.
The Wild Soul Woman Book Circle & Sisterhood, is a clarion call to come together as women to unleash our full feminine power and remake our world.
I have taught thousands of women over the years to awaken to their magnificence through the Earth archetypes. Now I am following a call to create a community where women can share their creativity, their fears, their desires, and their successes. And, most of all, support each other to stand up, speak out, and stay true to themselves.
As anyone who loves the Earth knows: nothing happens in isolation. We need each other to grow and flourish. All my books, workshops, carry this message of connection to a living, breathing planet that longs for us to thrive.
So let me ask you, do you long to:
Let go of what no longer serves you
Sow and tend the seeds of your deepest dreams
Ride the flow of your desires
Claim your own grit and grandeur
Be nurtured within a community of creative, Earth-centered women?
My own rewilding path was not an easy one. I was brought up in London and attended a convent boarding school in Surrey from the age of 11. I felt perpetually guilty, for I knew not what.
As puberty took hold, my body became a source of embarrassment. The convent culture was created to tame and shame the wild feminine, and I was constantly torn by my desire to break free and my essential fear of what that would bring. My passionate nature, my innate creativity, my fierce feelings, had nowhere to go and no one who seemed to understand them. At times, I felt like a freak.
From the age of 15, I drank heavily. By the time I got sober at 27, I suffered from mitral valve prolapse, the shakes, and was all too familiar with blackouts. Like many, I tried to escape the "cage" erected by a patriarchal society by acting out and numbing out. And while it worked for a while, in the end, I was trapped in a deep dark hole.
Then please join this Nature-sourced community. It is time to explore our wild souls, where creativity, wholeness, and healing reside, all without being blamed, shamed, or tamed.
When a Woman Awakens Her Wild Soul,
Her Earth-Centered Creativity Is Ignited
The inspiration and creativity released in this sisterhood is set to bring forth an enchanted tapestry of art, poetry, dreams, spontaneous rituals. and prayers. As we share our stories in circle, we all become wilder and wiser. More courageous, too.
Truly, there is no going it alone. It is through sisterhood that you will:
Get to the searing truth of Desert Woman
Rise rooted like Forest Woman
Become the unstoppable wave as Ocean and River Woman
Own the grit and grace of Mountain Woman
Sink deep roots in community with Grassland Woman
To truly liberate ourselves, we need to inspire and help each other break free of the chains and shames that so often hold us small. We need support, gatherings, rich conversation, deep permission, guidance, and, above all, love, nurture, and encouragement. Poetry, song, and ritual are vital aspects of this community.
We are not just rewilding ourselves, we are re-enchanting our lives. We celebrate YOUR offerings, YOUR creativity, YOUR dreams, YOUR poems and paintings and music and song. We celebrate YOU!

It's based on a body of work, and a mapped journey, that is The Way of the Wild Soul Woman. As Clare Dubois, the founder of TreeSisters writes in the foreword of Mary's book, Here, for me, is the map, the compass, and the key ... to embracing deep nature-based archetypes that inform and support the rewilding of womenkind.

You are welcome, in fact, encouraged, to share your poetry, journal writes, music, and any other creative expression that arises from our time together. Being witnessed and truly seen, is part of the magic of this community. The only thing that we ask of you, is that you do not use the community to market your products and programs to others.

You will feel held by them both. They offer live online sessions on Zoom, as well as providing you with questions, prompts, and other inspirations to guide your path. They will converse with you in our chat forums and will hold the space with their combined decades of experience in creating and sustaining community.

Archetypes reveal that we are part of a larger, spiritual ecology, or collective unconscious. The images they supply offer a pattern of energy and characteristics that allow us to bring the unconscious into our consciousness so that we can explore, dialog with, and integrate it. They are powerful and they are playful. They are wild!
-
No. But you might feel a little ungrounded if you don’t. That’s because the wisdom we draw on is that of these amazing Earth Archetypes, each of which initiates us into a different stage of growth. Having a sense of what the book is about, will afford you a much richer experience--and the book circle will certainly prove more potent if you can read along.

The annual membership can only be cancelled at the end of the 12 month period. That said, the price of $157 is meant to be affordable to all, at less than $15 a month.

Beyond the community membership with all its offerings, you can participate in specially curated Wild Soul Woman online classes and presentations for a minimal fee. Some will be facilitated by Mary and Kathleen, but there will be other teachers as well. We are truly looking to learn and rise together.
